My Approach

In therapy, we will work to understand your thought and behavioral patterns, clarify your values, and set goals, based on these values. We will review and practice new ways of responding to difficult feelings, unhelpful thoughts, and stress triggers.

My treatment approach is informed by acceptance-commitment therapy (ACT). Just as it sounds, it is an active form of therapy that has two main goals: accept what is out of your personal control and take action toward improving your life.

If you are struggling, there is help, and there is hope. My aim is that our work together leads to enhanced self-awareness, gratifying relationships, and a sense of fulfillment.

How Therapy Helps

You may be feeling more irritable, anxious, or tearful than usual.

Perhaps you are finding yourself reflecting on how you spend your time, questioning past decisions, and even re-examining your sense of purpose.

Therapy can provide a supportive space to process these feelings, accept and adjust to what is out of your control, and move in the direction of your values.

Build a life you don't need a vacation from.

While a vacation might offer a temporary escape, it doesn’t address the deeper patterns that contribute to stress and dissatisfaction. Real transformation happens when we take time to look within, understand our patterns, and make intentional, lasting changes.

Experiencing anxious feelings and thoughts from time to time is normal, but when this becomes a daily interruption, therapy can help.

Anxiety can shake your sense of self, sense of security, and interfere with your ability to be attentive and in the moment. Often, we try to avoid anxiety or anxious triggers—only to find ourselves more stuck in the cycle.

In therapy, we’ll work on noticing anxious thoughts and feelings as they arise and finding ways to respond with intention. Together, we’ll identify the situations, statements, or circumstances that tend to trigger these feelings and explore how to approach them with greater calm and openness.

Therapy is an investment in a life you truly enjoy living—a life where you feel grounded, purposeful, and fulfilled every day.

Together, we can uncover what’s holding you back, work on meaningful adjustments, and help you build a life you don’t feel the need to escape from.

Adjusting to - or contemplating - a change in your life, can leave you feeling stuck and unsettled.

You might find it hard to relax or be fully present, with disrupted sleep and a racing mind.

Decisions feel overwhelming, it is hard to focus, and you often replay certain events or conversations, wondering how things could have gone differently.

Despite your best efforts, it feels like you’re standing still when all you want is to move forward with clarity and purpose.

About You.

You may be navigating – or desiring – a change.

Maybe you're feeling ineffective or frustrated at work. Or, you are trying to process an upsetting medical diagnosis. Perhaps you are at a crossroads in your relationship.

I provide support and guidance, empowering you to make choices that lead to genuine fulfillment and growth.
