Making the decision to start therapy takes strength and courage. I’m glad you are here. Finding the right therapist can be daunting and overwhelming. If you are feeling unbalanced or unfulfilled with your life, therapy can provide the time and space needed for self-reflection and growth.

My Approach

In therapy, we will work to understand your thought and behavioral patterns, clarify your values, and set goals, based on these values. We will review and practice new ways of responding to difficult feelings, unhelpful thoughts, and stress triggers.

My treatment approach is informed by acceptance-commitment therapy (ACT). Just as it sounds, it is an active form of therapy that has two main goals: accept what is out of your personal control and take action toward improving your life.

If you are struggling, there is help, and there is hope. My aim is that our work together leads to enhanced self-awareness, gratifying relationships, and a sense of fulfillment.

If you have questions, want to learn more, or are ready to start therapy, please reach out. I look forward to working with you and joining you on this journey to greater self-understanding and self-discovery.

Have you found yourself preoccupied with…

--What other people think of you?

--Wanting things to be perfect?

--Worries about the future?

Have you noticed it's hard to

--Be fully present?

--Make decisions?

--Focus on one task at a time?

--Fall asleep at night?

About You.

Have you found yourself feeling…

--Stuck, unsettled, or scattered?

--Unable to relax?

--Unmotivated or afraid to make a change?

If any of the above sounds familiar to you, you have come to the right place.

While experiencing these feelings and thoughts from time to time is common, when this becomes the norm, therapy can help. Anxiety can shake your sense of self, sense of security, and interfere with your ability to be attentive and in the moment.

In therapy, we will talk about how to recognize when anxious thoughts or feelings come up and how to respond in the moment. We will talk about what situations, statements, or circumstances trigger these types of thoughts and how to prepare for anxiety triggers.
